Remember that a proper marriage calls for proper documentation! To marry on Hilton Head Island you will need a license. You must apply in person at the Office of the Judge of Probate at the county courthouse. You can also apply in person at the Probate Court Satellite office on Hilton Head Island. Also, if you’re planning on wedding on the beach, you will also need a permit.
